Category |
Any category that is useful to you. You can organize objects by category in list view (as we have done in our help). |
Keywords |
Keywords that describe the object. Separate each keyword with a space. FirstClass can search for keywords without having to search content. This speeds up searches. In addition, you can display keywords in list view. |
Where |
The path to the object. For containers, this is the path to the original. |
Creator |
Who created the object. |
Created |
When the object was created. |
Modified |
When the object was last changed. |
Expires |
Doesn't apply to containers. When the object will expire and be deleted. |
Expiry period |
Doesn't apply to containers. The length of time before the object will expire: |

If you are defining an expiry period |
Only applicable if you choose Other at "Expiry period". If you choose another value, then enter the number of days left, FirstClass ignores this information. The number of days you want as an expiry period. |

For existing objects |
The number of days left before the object expires. If the object will never expire, this field is blank. The value Expired means that the object will be deleted in the next trash collection, as scheduled by your administrator. |

Doesn't apply to containers. The character set used when the object was created. |

Seen only by administrators viewing info about model Desktop objects. The model action for this container: |

Default |
For items with known names used for specific server actions (for example, Contacts, Voice Greetings, My Web Page), a new container of the specified type is created on each user's Desktop. For public conferences, a membership is added to the conference. For folders, a link is added to the original folder. When an object is removed from the model Desktop, the membership or link is removed. When a known name is removed from the model Desktop, no action is taken as users will have content in these containers. |

Ignore |

Seen only by administrators viewing info about model Desktop objects. Use only if Copy or New were chosen at "Model action". Choose the type of system folder this object should be. |

Makes the object open automatically if it is unread (or contains unread items). Auto open is triggered by someone opening the container in which this object is located. |
Protected |
Prevents the object from being moved to a different container or deleted. Objects are still subject to expiry. You can change the object. In the case of a container, you can add objects inside it. |
Read only |
Prevents the object from being changed. You can move or delete the object. In the case of a container, you can't add objects inside it. |
Icon position locked |
Keeps the object from being moved within the container. |
Unsent |
Doesn't apply to containers. Whether this object has been sent. |
Stationery |
Doesn't apply to containers. Turns the object into personal stationery, which serves as a template for new messages. |
